How It Works
COACHES RECRUITMENT & COMBINE PROGRAM
How it works
Thank you for your inquiry. The CRCP is designed to address two fundamental needs of 1) high school rugby players and their parents and 2) College coaches who currently have a very limited exposure and access to high school players outside of their local or regional geography.
For Coaches:
The CRCP is set up to allow all colleges in the United States to participate, free, at any and all CRCPs held nationwide. At these CRCPs, a dedicated area is available for every participating college to have a coach and/or school representative present their schools to interested athletes and parents. Coaches can deliver workout schedules, level of play information, medical, financial, and admissions support information. Parents here are the key, as they typically want to know if any support is available if their child chooses to apply.
Coaches subscribe, annually, to the CRCP and are then given access to the entire Profile database of every high school player who participates nationwide in the Combine section of the CRCP. Now a coach in Arizona can look at athletes who have participated in Massachusetts and Miami and any of the other 12 markets. Coaches can sort who they view by GPA, total scores from the 9 Combine drills, age and numerous other qualifiers.
Players profiles include:
- Name
- Age
- Home address and Phone number
- E-mail address
- GPA
- Year in HS and name of high school
- Years & positions played
- High school coach’s name and contact number
- Other sports played in HS
At this point, any coach who sees an athlete of interest can contact the athlete directly and begin the recruiting process.
Coaches utilizing this dynamic new tool will immediately have an advantage over those not subscribed. And the CRCP will expand dramatically year to year. CRCP is projecting increasing the number of CRCP’s in Phase 2 to 30. Coaches subscribing year 1 will be offered discounts for renewals that will always be 20% less than new subscribers. The initial subscription fee is $500. Numerous coaches have already suggested that they had this subscription fee picked up by an Alum, one had the Admissions Office pay the fee, based on the value ascribed to an applicant admitted during their four years and the Alumni giving equations applied.
American Rugby Management Group is excited for the high school athletes, the college coaches and the colleges and especially for this new program that will help everyone involved in Rugby grow and succeed.
